Dona Llum
Formerly called El part es nostre, Dona Llum offers free support and advice about birth. Their website includes up to date information about birth in Catalunya as well as personal experiences and articles. Grup Gemma
Gemma is a support/information group for pregnant women and mothers. They have weekly meetings which provide a chance to get together with other mothers and mothers-to-be and during which specific themes regarding pregnancy, childbirth and children are addressed. Although this is not an English-speaking group, a number of English speakers attend the meetings.
Meetings are every Tues from October to June, 11am-1pm.

This is the Catalan branch of the international organisation La Leche League. On their website you can find details of the groups that are held around Barcelona. Meetings are generally held once a month and are led by a trained Leche League monitor. Meetings are free and you don't need to be a member to attend.
